Excellent upgrade from the original screw-on disc plastic pad. Quick sanding pad changes without tools. Much improved pace for projects.

The 3m pads are almost $40 and these will last just as long if don't get it in a bind to often. The only draw back to these is when you get them into a bind to much they bend where they are screwed into the machine. At that point if you see that when you hit the trigger on your Makita that the disk is wobbling take it off. You will not be able to sand evenly once it starts wobbling.
